Delivery and Returns

DELIVERY

For all remote orders paid for by card on our website or over the phone, delivery is typically 1 – 3 business days from the time of purchase via our shipping partner DPD. ​ If you have any specific requirements about delivery, please note these on your order or contact us at info@yocksscooters.com to let us know, and we will always do our best to accommodate you.

RETURNS

In the EU you have the right to return purchases made online or through other types of distance selling, such as by phone, mail order or from a door-to-door salesperson, within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind. The cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day. After 14 days since you received your order have elapsed, you do not have an entitlement to a refund or exchange. We may, however, consider offering you a store credit, at our discretion. No refunds or exchanges will be offered on any items bought in a sale or at a discount. This does not affect your statutory rights in any way – you are still entitled to, and will be provided your full warranty and after sales support.

CANCELLATIONS

You must inform us that you want to cancel your purchase / return the goods in “as new” condition, at which point we will provide you with our returns form and upon completion of this form you may return the goods to us. Yocks Scooters Shop defines “as new” as unused, boxed in original packaging and including any accessories in their original packaging and condition. We may refuse to accept a return or deduct from the refund any reasonable amount in the event that goods returned are not “as new”. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer. You must send the goods back within 14 days of informing us of your intention to return the goods. We will inform you of any applicable charges before you return the goods to us, as is our obligation.

REFUNDS

We will provide you with a refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. However, we may delay refunding you if we haven’t received the goods or evidence that you’ve returned them. Your refund will include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase. However, we may charge you delivery costs if you specifically requested non-standard delivery (such as express delivery). ​

Warranty

WARRANTY

All our scooters come with a 1-year parts warranty, not including parts subject to wear and tear such as tyres, brakes, chain and seat.

Battery warranty is only valid for 6 months and chargers are valid for 3 months. Even though Hydraulic Brakes do come under items that are subject to wear and tear, we offer a 6 months warranty on those as a goodwill gesture to our customers.

A Warranty covers you solely against manufacturing faults. General wear and tear, accidental or crash damage or damage from aggressive riding, water damage, exceeding the weight limit or anything else that results in damage due to misuse by the rider is not covered.

If the problem is not covered by the warranty a quote will be supplied for repair or

replacement and any shipping costs. All warranty claim decisions are final.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our warranty is only for parts; any repair costs are not covered. Our aim is to put instructional videos on our website for repairs and maintenance and we are happy to provide customers with any additional information for this via phone or email. We may replace warranty parts free of charge at our workshop but it will be the customer’s responsibility to bring the scooter to us and have it collected. This warranty parts replacement is also subject to availability of our engineers and will have to be booked in advance with Yocks Scooter Shop and cannot be done on while you wait basis.

Yocks Parts
Yocks reserves the right to use original or non-original parts for repairs undertaken. Non-original parts used will always be to the same specification as original parts. No warranty is provided for spare parts supplied by Yocks and installed either by the customer or a connected party.

DISCLAIMER

There are no restrictions on electric scooters intended for use on private property. If you intend to use your electric scooter on public roads, please ensure to familiarise yourself with the regulations in your country and purchase a suitable electric scooter. Yocks Scooter Shop does not encourage the use of electric scooters in contravention of applicable regulations.
